Asiatic black bear (moon bear) - BEAU
In bear farms throughout China moon bears are incarcerated in rusty cages to produce bile for use in traditional Chinese medicine. In October 2000 Animals Asia Foundation rescued a bear called Beau and after surgery to repair her wounds and years of cruelty, she now lives free with over 150 adults, cubs and orphans in a natural forest sanctuary. Beau is beautiful and affectionate, with melting brown eyes which hold your gaze with complete trust, intelligence and forgiveness. By adopting her you will be helping to secure her future.
