On a sultry evening in London British sculptor, Adam Binder was named the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation's Wildlife Artist of the Year 2010. Adam's beautiful bronze of a polar bear clinging to ice entitled 'Sinking Feeling' was a unanimous choice among the panel of judges. Along with the title, Adam also received a £10,000 cheque generously donated by the exhibition sponsors.

"I was absolutely amazed when my name was called out and I feel honoured to have been chosen from among so many wonderful artists," says Adam.

David Gower, David Shepherd and Robert Lindsay all spoke of the fabulous role the exhibition plays in raising awareness and funds for endangered wildlife and thanked the artists, supporters, staff and volunteers for their continuing commitment.

"The quality of the entries was outstanding," says David Shepherd. "As one of the judges, I was extremely impressed and I am looking forward to the same high quality in 2011."

Details of next year's competition will be on-line soon.
