June 26th: Meet Rachael Murton, Elephant Orphanage Project Manager

Come and meet Rachael Murton , Project Manager at the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Elephant Orphanage Project in Zambia and learn about the trials, tribulations and triumphs of working with orphaned elephants in Africa.

This informal, FREE event is being held at the David Shepherd gallery at 7 Kings Road, Shalford ,Surrey GU4 8JU on June 26th .  There are two sessions one at 4pm and one at 7pm . Rachael will speak for about 30 minutes with plenty of time for questions and answers.

“At 32, Rachael Murton is an extraordinary woman; minute in statue but tough in purpose, her contribution to the survival of orphaned elephants and to establishing the first orphanage facilities in Zambia has been quite remarkable,” says David Shepherd CBE .                                                                                                  

A wildlife conservationist with wide-ranging experience in veterinary support and scientific field research, Rachael now specialises in animal husbandry.

Availability is strictly limited and places will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis.
