On 22 June, DSWF and the Aaranyak Society
donated 25 solar panels to Kaziranga National Park (KNP). The
panels will be used to charge the wireless units used by the poaching
patrol teams and forest wardens, and will also charge the 20 batteries
that keep the base station in the park operational.
Dr. Bibhab Kumar Talukdar, Secretary General
of Aaranyak and project coordinator for DSWF, presented the panels
to the director of the park.
